Failed to look at front brakes when truck taken in for brake failure. Found a fluid leak, fixed that, and looked no further. Did not tell me I could have had a complete inspection for an additional fee. Brakes failed again several months later and this time they actually did look at the front brakes and diagnosed complete brake job. Had they checked front brakes first time they may have found that only the pads needed replacement. Owner would not accept this. Told him his failure to look at the front brakes earlier could have cost me several hundred more and I am on a fixed income. He kept claiming that I would have had to pay for a complete brake job anyway, even though he has no idea what the condition of the front brakes were the first time. He refused to except any responsibility and became increasingly defensive. I told him I would like a partial refund. I told him I wanted a partial refund -- he refused. I told him that he had lost my business and would get a poor review. He said that was up to me and then hung up on me. Avoid this garage unless you know exactly what is wrong and can ask very specifically what should be done. Do not trust them to do a thorough job on their own.
